Love that the only streaming version of this film is a VHS rip. That’s the way martial arts films from the seventies should be seen.
This film is obviously known for being the base material for Steve Oedekerk’s Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, so you’ll have some fun with noticing out the scenes they used for the latter film. The VHS rip cuts out some of the vital context it seems but you get the idea of what’s going on easily enough. Nothing groundbreaking, but I had fun watching it. Would love to see a restored version since it clearly can be done, but not the end of the world if it doesn’t come out.
