A play I am currently studying, which naturally makes me like it less.

It certainly had its good parts, but overall it's not something I would watch if I didn't have to write an essay on it.

The acting is beyond show stealing.

Love the single-room setting, really gives it strong similarities to the original theater-play.

Also, the few differences between play and film, make a lot of sense in their respective art-form, I don't mind them at all.

Watched this movie throughout 4 periods in school, one each day. We just finished it today and it was pretty good. I just wished they kept that one neighbor in the movie that was in the play because it would’ve given more context on why Mr. Linder mentioned the ‘incidents’ that have happened to people of the Younger’s race. It would’ve given more context.

And honestly..I thought Mr. Linder would be younger than he is in the movie. He seemed like he didn’t exactly know how to put the fact they can’t move into the neighborhood because they’re black, and judging by how much he stuttered and kept changing the placement of his words..I’d expect him to be like early 20s ish? 

In the movie he seemed kinda naive but his middle aged appearance threw me off.
