As someone born in 2002, the film weirdly feels very modern to me even though almost nothing “happens.” It captures that feeling of becoming emotionally attached to fragments, small moments, glances, atmospheres, people you barely knew but somehow never fully forgot. And the more this movie goes on, the more it feels like Guerín is quietly questioning whether we actually miss people… or just miss who we were when we met them.

a quiet longing. idealism and hope. while nostalgia lingers behind.

hey siri play “let me live in your city” by paul simon
a before sunrise more unorganised, confused, out of focus, indecisive, even more wandering and with way less words but way more staring

maybe I'm not used to the rhythm of european films and for me “In the City of Sylvia” is quite slow (boring), but it’s still good
