The reclusive Dr. Zorba has died and left his sprawling mansion to his nephew Cyrus and his family. They will need to search the house to find the doctor's fortune, but along with the property itself, they have also inherited the occultist's collection of thirteen ghosts.

This movie hits so hard. It has moments that are still tense and creepy to this day even if the ghosts are not the big scare. Buck is my favorite child in a movie ever. In the end, the real bad guy is always human.

The original 13 ghosts is a fun and campy time. I like the gimmick they use with the ghosts even though they must have forgotten to mail me my ghost glasses. The ghosts have nothing on the remake but they look cool especially the ghost lion. The story is not great but it's very fun. The characters are all likeable. The house isn't as intricate in this version but it is still cool. 13 ghosts is definitely a remake better than the original but the original is fun and campy. It's well worth a watch.
