Finally finished with Terry Gilliam’s whole filmography I really do believe he is under appreciated I can understand why many have not liked his style but to me it’s special and intriguing, one of those directors where when you’re watching a film blind you can say “this was definitely directed by Gilliam”
Now speaking about The Man Who Killed Don Quixote I sadly believe this is his worst movie the second half felt very sloppy, the end is corny and not very well thought out, Adam Driver and obviously Jonathan Pryce played their roles to perfection kind of like how I felt about The Brothers Grimm (great characters, dynamic, and dialogue but the plot kinda booty…)
