A few things stand out after barely finishing this movie. The Flash somehow makes The Batman and the other characters look way more interesting than the actual main character.
The protagonist is just poorly handled here. The CGI makes his head look like a giant bobblehead, the weird poses he does before he starts running look ridiculous, and the slow-motion animations are terrible. Honestly, I’d rather just see a quick flash of lightning on screen than watch him run.
In the end, it’s just a movie to put on in the background while you do other things. I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece, but with the source material they had to work with this is still a big disappointment.
