This follows Gregg Araki’s debut and it is a bit of a step down. The character dynamics aren’t all there. I think this is one of those cases where the concept is great and the execution is good, but a bit lacking.

After watching Araki’s debut, I found this to be more layered in comparison due to the types of relationships that he explores. It’s still very rough around the edges though.
