The early scenes on the Kree home planet, Hala, are the closest the movie gets to a pure Tech Noir vibe that i love. With high-tech skylines, dark alleyways, and glowing cyan/blue accents make for such a cool setting!

Moving the setting to 1995 allowed for a refreshing change of pace. From Blockbuster Video storefronts to Nine Inch Nails t-shirts and a grunge-heavy soundtrack, make for a great nostalgic aspect!

Once Carol fully realizes her potential breaking the literal and figurative inhibitors placed on her, the action becomes immensely satisfying. Seeing her fly through Kree warheads like a human wrecking ball is a definitive superhero moment!

One thing I really like is when a movie doesn't complicate the storyline. It can take me looking away for 5 seconds and I completely lose the plot being confused the for the rest of the movie but in this case the plot is simple and effective so my little brain doesn't get to confused!

They should put more random animals in movies like this. Goose is such a genuine addition, creating some of the best comedic moments in this movie. Plus, having Samuel L Jackson team up with the cat is absolutely hilarious!
