Lord, this had potential! Starts off strong with the usual Jaws ripoff opening, but wow that score! That score went hard for this type of movie! And then some good barracuda attacks and I’m thinking “Hell yeah, this is my type of movie!”
And then… woah, did I switch movies without realizing it in the middle? I don’t know what happened, budget ran low, butting heads with writers, something! Now the killer fish movie becomes a conspiracy thriller and we don’t see the title character at all in the second half!
That score still slapped though, easily the best part.
