The giant octopus is awesome. The scenes inside the submarine were awesome. The central romance was creepily forceful and honestly scarier than the octopus.

Its weird that I enjoy everything but the creature in a creature feature 😆 Giant octopus isn’t the most inspiring, and while Harryhausen did a great job with it I just didn’t find the design interesting 😅
Character work was good and it wasn’t too long which I appreciated, but again a creature feature should wow or shock you, which this creature didn’t do either for me 🤷

El bicho fue listo en atacar la costa de California. De haberlo intentando por estas latitudes habría sido troceado y servido en el último San Froilán con extra de cachelos.
Monster movie clásica pero no por ello menos normalucha, rozando lo mediocre a ratos. Si perdura en el recuerdo es por lo majete de los efectos de Ray Harryhausen, que consiguen que hasta tentáculos gigantes parezcan tener personalidad propia.
Era un mago.
