I missed the Fritz Lang silent epics and now we are back. I expected more action in this one and was a little let down but I still enjoyed it. Every actor/actress does a great job. It feels odd seeing a child character in a Lang movie but I liked him too. The rocket and the moon are very cool and I enjoyed the special effects. The scenes of the rocket in the hanger and of them on the moon were great. The Fritz Rasp character doesn't really do as much once they launch I would of liked him to do more.

Definitely one to revisit know that I have proper expectations, I can really see getting into this one more. Nice to see Gustav von Wangenheim in something that isn't Nosferatu, I could clock his overacting from a mile away. Also, wearing cable knit sweaters on the moon without a space suit, real Wallace & Gromit vibes.

Oh hell yeah. 1929. What a year.

Loved it. The first 45 minutes of random character moments, the middle hour of Must Build Space Rocket and the final hour On The Moon. So great. Loved that ending, I’ll forever be amazed at how much Fritz Lang could say without saying a word and just overall a good time!!
