The title is accurate, because this film literally sparks comfort and joy. Charming and lighthearted, it’s topped with surprisingly cozy, misty views of Glasgow. A Christmas-time, mob-like rivalry over ice cream is exactly what I needed in these troubling times.
A great example of an unserious holiday film that’s actually engaging as well.
Also, maybe it’s off-topic, but Maddy is an absolute baddie – I wish this klepto queen had more screen time.
