Unfortunately cooked with the poster more than the movie. Seeing a magic abortion attempt on screen is as crazy when you’re 5 or 21, lol. The fight club reference was funny, wonder if the kid looks John Connor ah on purpose. Still, a lot of fun, even tho the movie does feel clumped, but makes sense, based on a book. Honestly…Night Watch was kinda wild 💀. lThe vibes were crazy, the visuals were so early2000s but in a way that somehow works?? The plot had me confused like 40% of the time but I was still watching like “okayy let’s see where this goes.”
The world building is cool, very dark and supernatural but sometimes it felt like they were doing TOO much at once.
Still I liked the energy and the whole aesthetic it’s giving Slavic goth chaos and I’m here for it.
I didn’t love it, didn’t hate it… but it definitely entertained me.A fun messy ride. Might watch the sequel just to see how crazy it gets.
