There’s something on low budget exploitation horror films that easily makes it feels authentic and gets in your skin. From docu-style camerawork to convincing acting especially from the scream queen MC (she really screamed her heart out)—I see why this is one of the most influential horror films ever made

Oh I see why this is seminal text now. God this thing is just so lean, absolutely no fluff, just incredible; twisted, creative, and so so stylish. The editing is what really sticks out for me here, the soundscape, transitions, sporadic closeups and color gradients are astonishing. Holy last 15 minutes.

Mind you this would probably be a 5 star movie if it wasn’t for peacock w/ ads being actually unwatchable. 12 ad breaks in a 85 minute movie is fucking criminal.

“ who will survive and what will be left of them “

the movie was horrible, not only lost plot 20 minutes in but stupid plot in the first place.

the only good thing about this movie was it had some good scenes, when it was over obviously and franklins whining stopped.

the chainsaw made my ears bleed seriously, if only it was over sooner rather than later to be honest 
the movie sucked.
