before watching this, i remember reading something along the lines of sharon's performance being lifeless or empty - but i kind of think that was the point of her character. she brought a chilling, ethereal, vacant, yet alluring energy to this movie that set the stage for the "not-quite-right" feeling our protagonist would soon become all too familiar with.
anyone who discounts sharon's talent or dismisses her as solely a beautiful face should give it a watch. despite this being a smaller role, i think she held her own among even the more seasoned actors.
