Pet Shop Boys Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant embark upon a journey across England - but which England? Is it the half-remembered England of their childhoods, or the brutal reality of Mrs Thatcher's late-eighties England? Along the way they come across many familiar (and sinister) faces. The movie also features some of the Pet Shop Boys' most popular records.

The most MTV a film has ever been. The individual music video-esque segments are great but it’s clear early on this is more style than anything else even though there are some intriguing facets of Thatcher-era England getting skewered here and there.

A creative decision that’s somehow less baffling than 1996’s Bilingual.

An arty musical with only Pet Shop Boys songs? Hell Yeah sign me up any day, I love the Pet Shop Boys. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will forever be iconic.
