Definitely a letdown following the first installment in this franchise, but I like some stuff about it. Unlike what I imagined, we actually follow the stepfather into a new family and it’s not the old family trying to put an end to it, which I like. However if they made a sequel to the 2009 stepfather I think it would be better if the previous family tried to stop him.
