Apart from the rape scene at the start, this was solid fun! Great atmosphere, tension, and decent characters.

Turns out this isn’t Isle of Dogs.
Really skeevy opening. One of the teens is an all-timer for “why the heck would anyone willingly associate with this unrepentant shitheel?” trope that you get in slashers. Cut that guy out of your life.
Otherwise, it’s a bloodless slasher heavy on the gothic story and Scooby Doo wandering investigation. It’s like if Anthropophagus and Friday the 13th Part 2 had a lumpy-headed baby and left it on an island to have all meat picked off its bones.
