But when these burgeoning sports stars start disappearing one after the other, Dr. Jordine and his team - who’ve started plying their athletes with new and untested performance-enhancing drugs - are baffled.

There is nothing particularly noteworthy about Fatal Games. Most of the kills are extremely boring and the non-murder parts are even more boring. I think after watching this and the first 2 Slumber Party Massacres I'm good on 80s slashers for the rest of time.

I should drop another star off this rating considering there were exactly zero games played in this movie. If you make a horror movie called Fatal Games, I’m expecting some games 💔

This was cute but needed a little more tightening in run time. An extra half star for the man-ass

It was great up until that major fucking transphobic twist like there’s movies that came out the same decade that or even earlier that handles trans killers with more respect and grace

and im here yet again with my daily finds of underrated slasher films from the 1980s and the one from today is titled fatal games from 1984 and after finishing this one up i’ve got to say that this one was a pretty decent one in my opinion it wasn’t anything all that special and was your standard slasher plot with characters you’re supposed to care for next hour but almost half of them were just very uninteresting and flat characters with nothing really going for them other than them all having the same thing in common and that’s them all being very athletic people who are very passionate about what they are training for so then we move onto the kills in this film and i’ll cut them some slack for just being able to show the deaths unlike doing the whole offscreen kills which i have a burning hatred for but i do wish that the killer in this film was a bit more creative with them instead of just offing them with the exact same technique like it was just a bit boring in my opinion but it’s honestly whatever to me and then the killer reveal in this one wasn’t really surprising to me because i was expecting it to be a interesting person to be the one behind the killings instead of the nurse we see for about a bit in the film but i’ll admit that the one thing they did get me with was the secret that the nurse was hiding from everyone because i would have never assumed that it almost had me has shocked as i was when i first watched sleepaway camp and the ending to that one and how jaw dropped i was.
