Drive-In Massacre
Ehhh, I wanted to like this a little more as it seemed like a good pre Halloween slasher that delivered on the gory kills! Then the warehouse scene happened which felt so out of place, and judging from this movie’s runtime I’m guessing it was added to pad it out to a feature length film.

Drive-In Massacre
why could i barely hear the dialogue in this film??

i can accept that this is a really early experiment on the ‘slasher’ subgenre. i didn’t really care about the low production value, as the idea of a drive in cinema esque slasher is actually a really fun idea, there’s some cool kills and nice gore and the ending was surprisingly decent. the main reason i disliked the film is its soooo slow. the characters talk in 0.5x speed, and it just drags on.. which is a bit concerning considering this is a mere 70 minutes, and they should’ve just cut out the detectives all together.. they didn’t really bring anything to the film and if they cut those segments out the film would probably be a lot more enjoyable. the soundtrack is also very jarring, but it didn’t really bother me. this is just a low budget over the top horror flick, which fails in practically everything, it’s just fun to laugh at.

A cold kill here and there. But noting of note. The twist is lame.

Drive-In Massacre
I will say that this film felt very slow paced throughout the entire thing like sure we did get some kills here and there but they were done so lazy and so very fast like i’m just someone who will rant about how much i hate these offscreen deaths because their extremely lame and done so much in horror films like i get the killer was picking people off at a movie drive in but u could have given some creative kills not to mention how bad the 2 detectives were at their job because how did no one see the killer just go around killing people in their cars right infront of other movie goers also the ending to this film was done so horribly in my opinion because even though we don’t see the killer be revealed we can already guess who it was and it wasn’t surprising in the slightest like i would have liked it a little bit more if it was the weird porn addicted dude or germy because they were obviously both giving off murdering vibes to me and lastly i just wanna say who the FUCK has sex at a drive in like? are yall that horny for eachother that you can’t do that in the comfort of your own homes like no decorum whatsoever! 😭
