I really enjoyed watching this film. It was my first Howard Hawks film, and I absolutely loved it. The film critiques the newspaper industry and shows how chaotic and ruthless it can be, with people willing to do almost anything just to get a headline. The film captures that chaos perfectly. The fast paced dialogue is incredible, everyone talks over each other constantly it works so well though and makes everything even more entertaining. The chemistry between the two leads is fantastic, and the comedy surprisingly still holds up really well today. It’s one of the funniest films I’ve ever seen and one of the best films I've ever seen.
