I mean, what can you say, really?
This is one of those (far fewer than one might think) 'review-proof' movies. Here, you are either on board with the soft-focus, sex/sax hijinks within the first couple of minutes or you aren't -- the film opens in a studio where brown leather jacket wearing purveyor of smooth jazz Johnny is recording and, during a break, gives his girlfriend, who is reluctant to engage in penetrative sex in such a public place, a, um, horn solo instead, as she writhes over the instrument's bell (and, as striking as that scene is, it sort of pales in comparison to the one involving nail polish and tights a couple of minutes later).
It's the sort of movie where all the performances are wildly overheated (all glaring, quivering, shouting, gasping, even tonguing), the psychology has all the depth of a cereal box, the nudity (at least for the women) is very nearly constant (really not sure why, for example, Cecilia even owns that many different cable knit sweaters when all she does is take them off in just about every scene), and the story is deeply silly (to the point of trivializing some issues that probably shouldn't have been), but it'd be a lie to say that the film isn't entertaining -- from the opening scene onwards, it maintains a fevered pitch extreme enough to land it in the realm of camp while delivering some of the tonal nastiness of Fulci's more celebrated works.
And to show that the film doesn't do anything by half-measures, it gets bonus points for crowbarring the title into the dialogue not once, but twice.
So, ratings: if you give up after the opening scene, 0/5 but if you stick around, 4/5 -- let's err on the side of caution and say 3/5.
[edit: the bonus material on the Severin blu ray is pretty great, particularly the Bret Halsey interview -- he's pretty dishy with his opinions on costars and others]
