Based on the best-seller book 'The Little Prince', the movie tells the story of a little girl that lives with resignation in a world where efficiency and work are the only dogmas. Everything will change when accidentally she discovers her neighbor that will tell her about the story of the Little Prince that he once met.

9.3/10 categorized as a kids movie but is made for adults. The movie features elite stop motion animation during the flashbacks of the Little Prince's adventures. Such a beautiful way of showing childhood wonder and imagination. This movie also shows how the world we live in is like a simulation. The overhead scenes of all the houses and all the cars really showed that aspect. Every house in the neighborhood looks the exact same. It makes you realize in a world where everything is the exact same l we need our imagination. Our childhood minds are what makes us the people we are and we need to hold onto that even when we are old and gray. When we see Little Prince later in the movie as a middle age man who just works everyday like the rest of us we realize this is what happens to all of us. We lose our childlike imagination and just become part of the simulation. The Aviator and The Little Girl's dynamic was so powerful to watch. He made her summer the most interesting ever. While her mother was just trying to let her fall into the simulation and lose her imagination. The Aviator was able to bring back her imagination that she was losing as she grew older. Now The Little Girl knows the power of imagination which is one of the most vital parts of the human mind which we seem to lose at a young age by growing mature. My only critique of this would be the pacing at the start being a little slow. Even though this was a kids movie and kids should see this I would recommend this probably to adults who have lost the inner kid in their lives.

Growing up isn’t scary, forgetting is
I watched this movie for the first time 10 years ago when I was 10, now I’m 20 and I can happily say that so much has changed but at the same time nothing at all…
