It’s not really that good. The vulture is really the main good thing about this movie, he’s a very solid antagonist. They kind of butchered my boy Spider-Man in this film, they didn’t really make him quirky, weird yet somewhat likable, they made him awkward, wimpy and kind of an annoying pussy. I’m adamant that tom holland was one of the worst choices for Spider-Man in existence. He is also one of my four horsemen of actors that if they star in a movie, I don’t want to watch it. He never has any chemistry with his fellow actors. Zendaya is also kind of in the realm of unlikable stars as well but she at least can act better than holland. I’ll stop cheesing on Holland now and say others things about this movie that are kind of dooky. The writing is horrendous, like have Spider-Man shut the fuck up for a little while or at least have him stop making so many high pitched squeals and grunts, it was driving me up a wall. The pacing wasn’t great, it can be slow at times which shouldn’t be possible in a Spider-Man film. They tried way too hard to make this a comedy, I’ll admit that there should be a few jokes but holy cow not the whole fucking move has to be a joke. They also coddled to the humor of 2017 which made quite a few jokes super outdated and cringe. The bully was god awful, every time he talked my toes curled. I liked Ned, props to Ned, probably one of the only characters I didn’t hate. The action sequences were also solid, they had action and were done to the standard I’d expect in an action marvel film. The Vulture was a dope character and I do think he was well written. It had its parts that were great but just shot itself hard in the ass with subpar, cringy writing. I really don’t care if I watch this again.
