Interesting concept and definitely wasn’t HORRIBLE, but lacked something for me. I feel no emotional pull to this story and I think ScarJo just sometimes lack emotion in these kinds of roles. I know there re controversies over the casting which some argue to be part of the point…. IDK 

Watched this and Lucy in the same week bc I mistook the Framed somehow and both are kind of giving same energy.

Not me falling asleep the first time I tried watching this lol

Like, the neon-cyberpunk aesthetic is top-tier and visually it’s amazing, but that’s literally it. I haven’t even seen the original anime and I still found the plot so hollow, it’s like they forgot to spend some budget on the story.

Great to look at, and Scarlett is fine tho… I guess. But the plot is so boring and predictable, the substance is just not there.
