how tf do you make a film about cannibals in a dystopian desert wasteland this boring??

so much of this film’s 2 hour runtime was silent shots of characters in the desert. the lead character’s choices were just baffling & the ‘romance’ came out of nowhere. everyone & everything in this film felt underdeveloped.

this was a real disappointment. meandering and unfocused, but not in a way that helped convey any message or emotion. the setting was really cool, but outside of that it just fell flat.
