Most early talkies are kinda bad and the revue is a format that’s basically fallen off the face of entertainment. You have to be severely, terminally Old Hollywood-brained to have a glimmer of a shadow of a whisper of a chance of enjoying this.
Anyway, ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ because I think MGM lining up their galaxy of stars to perform “Singin’ in the Rain” in raincoats is gleefully stupid. None of them look like they want to be there and it makes me laugh.
