NYC custodian Daryll Deever is a big fan of local news reporter Tony Sokolow, so he is intrigued when she shows up to cover a story at his workplace. There's been a murder in the office building, and Tony suspects that Daryll may have insight into the crime, a notion that he furthers to stay close to her. However, when those behind the killing begin to think that he really knows something, they target the pair to keep their secrets hidden.

The Israel stuff and the dog stuff was an unpleasant surprise but I also put it on because I wasn’t in a James Woods mood to watch Cop and whammo there he is.
Kind of dug this but the cast is carrying it.

Stumbled across this one randomly on Criterion. I’d never heard of it but it was enjoyable. Definitely hit on some political stuff I wasn’t expecting and Sigourney Weaver and William Hurt are both charming as hell. I think it’s a little off tonally but worth a watch for sure.
