2 very interesting performances by two great performers. The idea and potential of a film story like this sounds very interesting and unique, but this film ends being mostly a mess of odd actions made by both with splashes of sentiment and heart sprinkled in. The progress of the relationship between the two men is great to watch though if you can look past a lot of the odd action choices. The other biggest dissatisfaction is with an ending that, without spoiling, builds to some of the most effective moments of the film to end very flat and disappointing
