In winter, we learn how to be adults in the cold. And then spring comes again, and we learn about love and about how much we’ve grown since the last spring. That’s fascinating

The images are beautiful, and the story itself is so delicate and pretty to watch. The mother's death is, per usual, a tough hit, especially since I remembered it happened at the start of the movie and not at its halfway point. I also really enjoyed the score, and it's one of the best Disney movies from its first era, even if sometimes it's a bit too emotional and pathetic.

Watched this with mum because we recently adopted two dachshunds and they’re named Penny and George. And yesterday my mum suggested we rename Penny to Bambi because she has the same colours as Bambi does. And now we have Bambi and George!
