The images are beautiful, and the story itself is so delicate and pretty to watch. The mother's death is, per usual, a tough hit, especially since I remembered it happened at the start of the movie and not at its halfway point. I also really enjoyed the score, and it's one of the best Disney movies from its first era, even if sometimes it's a bit too emotional and pathetic.

man, the animation style on this just absolutely blew me the fuck away, there’s no way this came out in the 40’s lmao!! this is definitely a must watch, I loved the story and the development of the characters, I mean I was expecting it to be good because it’s an old disney movie, but I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, Boy did this shit prove me wrong, please please please watch this.
