Ain’t that the truth, Sally. You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown is a fun little episode about Linus running for class president. Lucy is absolutely hilarious in this because her anger is so justified. Annoying callers who yap and yap, Snoopy and Woodstock doing everything but making voter signs for her, and then Linus nearly blowing his chance at getting elected due to his nonstop talking (that sounds familiar).
This is just a fun episode to watch in honor of Election Day. I also think it’s a good time to remind everyone that whatever happens tonight, we need to be united as a country and as citizens of the greatest country in the world. Politics are unfortunately important, especially for the country we live in, but they’re stupid when it comes to dividing us as a nation. Life is too short to hate and whoever gets elected, we shall treat them with nothing but respect because they will be leading us for four years.
