Y'all know Mira nair as zohran mamdani’s mother I know her as the only director who knows ball about Uganda. Hype that this was filmed in Kampala (taxi park scene gave me war flashbacks) with actual Ugandans and features the Luganda language and is so authentic and real down to how the country stops functioning when it rains
