Honestly the only thing that makes this an Oscar worthy performance for Katharine Hepburn is when she gets drunk and starts reciting Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet soliloquies.

Katharine Hepburn is good in this! However nothing fucking happened, we spent what felt like half the film at the same party, and I'm unsure what happened in that part, just a mediocre film I'm afraid

This is only really as good as it is because of Katharine Hepburn just being utterly marvelous, but otherwise the story is fine but awkwardly paced for such a short film. Better to just watch Stage Door, but you do get Katharine Hepburn drunkenly reciting Shakespeare, so there's that.
