Young Soul Rebels has such a brilliant vibrancy and endearing soul, laced with intensity, intimacy, chaos and some real fucking good music, all whilst loudly tackling themes like police corruption/brutality and the issues within the uk’s early alternative scene. Mo Sesay in particular is so good, and the ending is fire (literally) but also so sweet 😊!! I went into this blind, and I was surprised by the events that occurred, but definitely impressed! Best believe I was shocked to see that this has less than 5,000 logs on here. Truly an underrated gem!! I really enjoyed it!!
