I love this silly little movie.
Also, not to stir up a Letterboxd controversy, but does Tobe Hooper have the most inconsistent directing of any director? This was what 4 years after Poltergeist, arguably an all time flick, and yet it feels like a first or second feature. Maybe it’s budget. I dunno.
Still, I love revisiting this one now and then. Karen Black could ride up to me in Mrs McKeltch’s van with an arm load of candy and I’d hop right in.
Also didnt know until today that the kid playing David Gardner is Karen Black’s son.
Scream Factory Blu-ray.
