I would like to see more from Rob Schmidt. I am a sucker for Martin Donovan. I don’t know, this one feels the most “knows what it is.” It’s like Clive Barker’s fancy ego got expressed in the last one and a tadpole of his id leaked into the next episode. Soap opera skinless ghost softcore. I can’t recommend without certain augmentation but it’s the most late night Showtime episode of the series. The house special rather than Mick Garris’ horror buddy playground but for all I know Mick plucked this guy. I just wouldn’t be mad at a season of gory Silk Stalkings meets Days Of Our Lives.
Do not remember this from initial viewing but clearly it struck a chord this time.

2007 | Masters of Horror
Another solid episode.
Didn’t love plot or characters, but it’s relatively well made and well acted. Best thing about it are the amazing practical effects. There is some really gnarly gore and it is giving “Hellraiser” sometimes.
“Right to Die” has some fine twists, but doesn’t manage to be interesting and engaging enough for them to be truly effective. It’s still a good episode and I think many will enjoy it more than I did.
