This is a murder mystery crossed with a stop the spread of a pandemic movie. A corps of an illegal immigrant with two bullet holes and the bubonic plague is found floating on the New Orleans pier. The doctor has 48 hours to find the killer before the disease spreads beyond containment. The constant countdown clock made it very fast and momentum, and the doctor has to go around working with the police and operate on his own actions which I always love. This is not too long and keeps moving. The characters aren’t too hard to follow who’s who, and the final chase is really exhilarating.
