The Seven-Ups
The coldness of the cinematography is to be expected with these 70s crime thrillers, but the sevn ups is basically existing in the same world as The French Connection.

That Car chase is absolutely insane of course the guy who was involved with the French connection and Bullit's chase scenes directed this.

Scheider is amazing as the cop who will test the limits of the law to get his job done and to get his guy.

God, Richard Lynch was the best. Roy Scheider was the best. Really engaging thrillers that suddenly kick in insane car chases need to make a comeback.

70s cop charm, Scheider and a hell of a car-chase. But a bit boring in some parts.

I was trying to think of a country slightly worse than France so I could make a French Connection joke for this review, but then I remembered that French people are the worst and the joke is impossible because France is the worst country there is.
