Informative, sad, and, ultimately, cathartic.
Can’t believe Mark went through all that shitty stuff. The horror community was definitely full of losers (derogatory) in the 80s and 90s (this was the same shit they did with Freddy’s dead), but again it was the 80s and everyone was like that.
I’m so glad we’ve come far as a society and a horror community, and I’m also happy that the film has found its audience and is more accepted in horror spaces.
It was so nice to see Bill Rusler defending Mark during the reunion, and I almost shed a tear during the final conversation between Matt and David.
I hope Jack Sholder knows that he left the whole ordeal looking like a complete buffoon. What do you mean, “this isn’t about you.” It clearly is because he’s the lead actor and the one who was bullied for years.
It’s so great to see that Mark persevered through all that stuff and that he now knows that the movie has a die-hard fan base who were impacted by his character. I wish him a peaceful and happy rest of his life.
