I actually believed that she was really meant to be in that village, not just as a single villager, but because her life was already written for the Prince. It wasn't just fate that put them there, but it was their done-written story. Romance to its fullest. The metaphors were just making me fall in love with something I couldn't express through words.
By the way, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney film—both the animated and this live-action film—and also, Emma has been my favorite ever since.
