The whole movie I was just jealous of Clinton's jeans lol. WHERE DID HE GET THEM I NEED TO KNOW
I loved the atmosphere of the film, especially the psychedelic black and white shots with choppy editing. So I don't really understand so much hate, the film is OK for a director who only shot this and have less than 1000 views, like what did you expect. I also liked the idea itself, the theme (as I understood it) that is raised here, redemption, even if it was not shown in the best way and also attempts to improve something.
I liked the character, lol I saw a comparison with Fight Club and I agree there are similarities, the same depressed guy suddenly develops dissociative disorder, oh yeah I liked that. For those who think that Cassie is his second personality, I disagree with you, because we were shown his real second ego when he was hallucinating, you know, that was standing in Front of Clinton and talking to him. So, what I was talking about, yes, the character is very dramatic, of course, it is not possible to fully empathize with him because we have no context how he ended up living like that, but it clearly became hateful to him. He had a deep depression, as evidenced by all the chaos in the room and his alcoholism, as well as his self-flagellation, which ultimately led to a split personality, which constantly threw away drugs and a gun, thereby persuading him to stop doing bullshit. And perhaps the ending can be considered good for him, he confessed to Rachel, accepted and received a bullet in the leg (I didn’t really like that part to be honest) became his redemption, and the fact that he left with car and remembered his "night adventures" became the beginning of a "new", albeit not ideal. How much Clinton reminds me of Jesse here by the way Yoo
Speaking of the details of the film, damn, I really liked his paintings hanging in the room, whoever did this clearly has taste.
