When I was 14, I thought this was great. Now that I have some critical thinking skills, I realize how bad it is (as a Christian myself, may I add). As with every Kendrick brother movie I’ve seen, the characters are one-dimensional, the dialogue is cheesy, and the spirituality is surface level and unrealistically heightened to be miraculous whenever a character needs it. And that list doesn’t even include the misogyny.
