Les bruitages sont affreux.
On est pas au prime du jeu d’acteur.
Les effets sont très kitch.
Les combats sont hyper chorégraphiés.
Et pour autant j’ai quand même passé un très bon moment devant ce film qui a de toute évidence inspiré Tarantino. Maintenant va falloir que je revoie Kill Bill trooopp chiaant 😔

Edited to say that it's not just the fights. Every scene is perfection. From the colours, to the costumes, to the performances, to the synchronisation.

Very fun film with great fight scene and an epic story, full of betrayl, honor and loyalty. The choreography feels very unique and the opening scene is by far one of the best examples. A nice journey about revenge in a overall fun genre.

If you’re ever looking for a film[s] you can shut your mind off and have a great time with, I recommend anything made by The Shaw Brothers. The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter has been on my watchlist for quite some time, and it is just as good as I was hoping! Some really well choreographed fights and cheesy over the top moments made this a very overstimulating, yet fun watch to start my day!
