it's dated, sure, but for a movie that came out more than 20 years ago, I think it's depiction of trans people is actually nice for a change
yes, i believe it's better if trans people are played by real trans people, but lee pace's performance was absolutely phenomenal, delicate and very sweet and the original Calpurnia didn't mind it so.....
at least it's not the trans woman that died at the end right? 😔
