This is more of a batfamily film or a dc teamup movie which just happens to take place in Gotham than a batman movie. But holy shit this is nostalgic and I loved it. This is such an overhated movie and super underrated in my opinion.
I understand why its so hated and I think the concept of robot animals are kinda childish but I enjoyed the film nontheless and dont think anything is neccessarily "bad" about this film, some scenes were a bit meh but most of the movie I enjoyed very much and the action was good.
I would've maybe liked a solo batman film more, but I would be lying if I said that I didnt want nightwing, the flash, green arrow and TIM DRAKE AS RED ROBIN RAAHHHH(HE IS SO UNDERUSED OMDDD) And I loved every one of them so much. Especially the flash.
The villains were pretty cool too but nothing special, but the penguin was defo on some steroids or some shit lmao.
Many people dislike the designs of the characters and the tone but I love them for some reason and always have. Also just the futuristic and modern tone of Gotham and the whole batman mythos is a really fresh take imo. I prefer more "vintage" Gotham but it works so well with these films.
