Romero (1989) Review

FIGHTING FOR THE TRUTH..

I watched this movie for my Religion class, over two periods. Was intrigued to see what the movie was about. And happy we didn’t have to do any work. Just sit and watch!

Like yes this movie has great moments, and parts that speak on religion. But it’s kinda boring. And surprisingly a violent film. Not too much violence but enough to have civilians just getting shot, by the corrupt police.

I wasn’t expecting much from it as it’s a movie that the school has apart of their curriculum. But enjoyed some parts, and also got bored at some parts. The main actor was really good though.

Not gonna say anything else.

Overall, “Romero” is a mediocre movie, about the famous Arch Bishop Romero, who is now a saint I think. A boring watch watch with some cool scenes. Probably won’t ever watch it again.

(2.5 stars ⭐️ out of 5).  (5.1/10).   51/100
