Great performance from Bette Davis. A true character study about a woman that is healing from a traumatic upbringing. I can't believe a movie like this was made in the 40's, it is so smart and challenges typical story structure. It was amazing to see her build confidence, set boundaries, and help others. It has an unconventional romantic resolution that works so perfectly with the story.

No one in this film is likeable in the slightest. Protagonists? Yeah, right. Not in Now, Voyager.

Jerry is a bitch. I don’t care if his wife, who we never even see, ALLEGEDLY sucks… Jerry is still worse. He could be lying about his wife, for all we know.

Charlotte is also a bitch. Need a reason? Think of literally anything she ever does. I can’t stand her in the slightest.

Now, Voyager was so dragged out and about 20 to 30 minutes longer than necessary. It would probably work better as a book, now that I’m thinking about it.
