I really enjoyed this, and I didn’t think I would as much as I did! I think the first 20 mins/ half an hour are a bit slow and confusing (I did have to search the plot line for the first section oops) but then it became really funny and fast paced. Did some bits lowkey make no sense in the real world, yes. But it was funny and I enjoyed watching. Just get through the first section of money stockbrokery boringness and then it’s a fun ride. 

Also, they tease me with Audrey Hepburn for two seconds, and then she never returned! 

Glad I watched an Ealing Studio film!

These Ealing Crime Comedies are pretty much always a fun time, especially when they have Alec Guinness, then you know it's a party. Some really good cinematography here, and some legitimately impressive camera tricks and optical effects that really stand out. The climatic car chase was also seriously impressive for the era.

Also, hi young unknown Audrey Hepburn for ten seconds in the beginning. Also, it was funny to see a police box in here that actually looks like the TARDIS from Doctor Who.
