So the majority of the reason I put this movie this low is because of the ending and it has one major glaring issue, how the hell did the T-Rex kill everyone on the boat, like how did that even happen. It’s a major plot hole that always irks me when I watch this one, I really feel like the whole San Diego part is just dumb. They had the two main characters show up because the plot needed them to and they killed a dog, that’s just fucked up honestly. The sequence where they were on the island was pretty good, it has all the elements in it for a solid Jurassic park movie but just horribly botched the ending. By far the best scene was the tall grass scene but I do wish we followed some of the expendable characters out of the grass because after that scene, all the other survivors became obsolete. I also wish we saw more dinosaur species, they really kept it pretty basic. The CGI and practical effects really tied the movie together, it’s still crazy what they were able to achieve with the technology they had. It was solid but not spectacular. I’ll watch it again though.

this is actually a good one, but the unengaging characters irritate me. in this case, it was kelly. she had one good scene, which was the kick, but otherwise, all she does is scream, and that's so annoying.

By 3rd act I wasnt’t paying attention anymore. The characters were just insufferable. At least the kid wasn’t annoying compared to the first one, but that Sarah pisses me off I kinda hope she was eaten by the dinosaur.
