genuinely got no idea what the fuck this is. might take the cake as the worst movie i’ve ever seen? it was certainly worse than ghost story which also might be the only thing i can compare this too in a way. i said like two reviews ago that a certain movie was the embodiment of most of the things i usually hate in movies but this took that and absolutely fucking ran off with it 😭 mumblecore stupid wide shots that don’t do anything, and a huge waste of one of the better casts i’ve seen for a movie. so pretentious and awful. 

what tf was up with all the weird belly obsession in this? made me super uncomfortable idk if it was like a kink thing for the director or what bc it certainly had no plot/thematic relevance bc there was no fucking plot 

FUN FACT: according to ryan gosling he also has no idea wtf this was about and said there wasn’t even a script for it so yea thanks

instant distrust and dislike towards anyone who would give this more than even like a 2 star. 💩💩💩

also the lead actress in my two least favorite movies is literally the same person thats crazy. i really like her too which is weird
