While it was hard to understand what was going on some times it kind of worked. It’s visually stunning, this movie is just so beautiful. I really liked Ryan gosling in this as well. Some of the music choice sucked but it wasn’t all that bad.

We thought we could just roll and tumble, live from song to song. Kiss to kiss
Malick is probably one of my favorite directors and I feel that I can accurately make this claim now that I’ve seen more than 2 of his films. Watching this at 4 in the morning is how I assume Malick intended. The movie is so transcendent and maybe (?) Malick best looking. It’s hard to make that claim giving that his films are the best looking films any director has ever made. Closest thing to watching a Malick film for the first time is being baptized. The scene with two geese under a bridge is one of the prettiest scenes ever. Love you goat Malick.
